In another version, it was said to be built by minister Kyan Thaing, right- hand sage to King Sawlu in 421 It was officially named Yan Aung Myin Pagoda but ever since its foundation on Nan-kaing Pagoda. Near it is a bronze staue of Buddha that is the highest in Myanmar, cast under the leadership of Sayadaw U Zanainda of Zabu Mingala Monastery. Reference 1.
