Mya Zedi Emerald Pagoda is near north of Myinkaba Village south of Bagan. It was built by King Kyansittha. It has three terraces. Ancient works of art were no more, only there were later renovations. Figures of lions are prominent.

A pilar of stone inscription in Pyu, Mon, Myanmar and Pali was found intact there. It was transferred to Bagan Museum. Another one, boken in hald, was found. It was pieced together again and kept at the pagoda.

On the inscription was written that in 1628 when King Kyansittha was on his death bed, son Yaza Kumar had a gold Buddha statue cast in dedication to his gratitude to his father.

Mya Zedi inscriptions are firm evidences related to the history of the ancient city of Bagan.
